A warm and relaxing atmosphere, the magic feeling of the location, the charm of the house and the happy and simple welcome from the owners make this a delightful and relaxing place in which to spend your holidays, right in the heart of 50 hectares of ancient and luxuriant olive trees. The owners will immediately put you at your ease and you will be spoilt by their attention and warm hospitality. The stylishly-furnished accommodation, the conservatory and the sitting rooms will be at your disposal and give you the impression that you have your own house in Sicily!
The whole property is available to rent on an exclusive basis.

The house is an historic building whose main structure dates back to 1700. The property was completely restored in 2005 and is now divided into two main areas: in the western part there is an oil mill where production of  an intensely perfumed extra virgin olive oil takes place. The remaining area of the property is dedicated to forestry. In the area available to guests there is a sumptuous lounge with fireplace, a conservatory with windows providing views of the park, a dining area, a small living room and the kitchens.
The principal residence, "Il Casale", comprises 4 suites: "Arancio", "Nocellara", "Biancolilla", "Cerasuola" (8+5 persons), 1 Junior suite "Agave" (2+1 person), 1 master suite "Oliva" (3+2 persons), 7 double rooms "Gelso Nero", "Yucca", "Giarraffa", "Coratina", "Piccionaia", "Salvia", "Granaio" (14 people) for a total of 27+8 occupants. The rooms "Gelso Nero", "Granaio" and the "Arancio" suite have an independent entrance.
Next to the property there is also a former railway station converted into an elegant two-storey house, "Il Casello", with a private garden and accommodation comprising 3 bedrooms with a bathroom, two with a single sofa bed, for a total of 6+2 persons, sitting room and kitchen.  The total number of people that can be accommodated in the whole property is 43 (33+10).
Outside there is a large courtyard with tables and chairs for breakfast, lunch and dinner and numerous spots in which to relax under the shade of the centuries-old olive trees which surround the property. In the area towards the hill there is a solarium and a beautiful swimming pool constructed in stone measuring 10 x 6 metres.
Please note: check-in in this property has to be by 7 p.m.

Numerous sites of historic interest are within easy reach of the property; first and foremost, the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento but also the Necropolis at Gela, the Castle of Mussomeli and Piazza Armerina. This is also an ideal base from which to visit the numeorus, unspoilt beaches of the southern coast of Sicily. In particular we recommend Balata dei Turchi, Eraclea Minoa, Torre Salsa, Porto Palo and the mouth of the river Platani. The owners organize boat trips for up to 8 people to visit nearby bays and coves.

The whole property may be rented for exclusive use ("Il Casale"+ "Il Casello") with breakfast service included.
Use of the kitchens by guests is not permitted, even in "self catering", however, a lunch or dinner service is available upon request.
The owners and their dogs live on the property.
Children up to 10 years of age do not pay.
