Located on one of the most scenic strips of coastline in central-southern Sicily, this resort is situated within the property of the historic Falconara Castle (owned by the princes Chiaramonte-Bordonaro) that lies directly on the beach.  The core section of this elegant and refined “Club House” hotel lies 200 metres away from the sea and offers every hotel facility: reception, hall, bar, restaurant, spa and fitness room, as well as “Classic” and “Junior Suite” rooms with splendid sea views. The other section of this resort, the “Fattoria” (“farmhouse”), is the nineteenth-century annex to the castle with charming stone corridors and high ceilings, the result of a painstaking and meticulous process of conservative restoration. This section contains the most exclusive hotel rooms that overlook the garden and offer breathtaking views over the sea, the Castle and the bay.

The “Club House” is the new hotel’s core section. This building, furnished in modern and elegant style, provides all the main facilities of this hotel: the restaurant, considered one of the most refined in the island, that thanks to the direct involvement of the Baroness Antonella Chiaramonte Bordonaro offers a selection of local Sicilian recipes altered with tact and expertise and using local (“zero km”) products; the spa, an extremely warm and intimate environment equipped with a steam room, two massage rooms and a “relaxation room” with an herbal tea room and background music. This well-being area has been built with painstaking attention to detail in order to ensure maximum comfort and restore your soul and body. The “Fattorie” were the ancient annexed buildings to the Castle and hold today the most exclusive rooms of the hotel (Superior, Junior, Deluxe and ApartSuite) facing both the sea and the beach. The rooms have a private terrace and patio to enjoy every minute of the intense sunlight, the sound of the sea and the taste of saltiness.

For the ones who wish to use this resort as a starting point for daily excursions, the surrounding area offers several interesting places to visit, such as the nearby Valle dei templi in Agrigento, Caltagirone which is well-known for its Sicilian Maiolicas, the Roman Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina, the archaeological sites of Aidone and Gela and the baroque towns of Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli, which have been declared world heritage sites. At about 18 kilometres from Agrigento is Scala dei Turchi, one of the most attractive stretches of coast and beach in Sicily where also lie the ruins of the Roman Villa di Realmonte.
